“We are in fact relational beings in a world where everything affects everything else and, as a result, to care for others is to care for ourselves.”

Aneeqa Malik

The Golden Rule is the key- it is the spiritual foundation for human transformation

The Shared MISSION - THE GOLDEN RULE

Christianity:

“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”(Matthew 7:12)

Islam:

“Not one of you truly believes until you wish for others what you wish for yourself.” (The Prophet Muhammad, Hadith)

Buddhism:

“Treat no others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful.” (Udana-Varga 5.8)

All religions and faiths share “The Golden Rule” in different words but with the same meaning: Love others as much as you love yourself.

Awakening the Consciousness:

The Spirit is dormant – A spiritual dimension in society (Humanity) needs to remind itself of ”Who we are” since we lost contact with Nature and the Divine Source.

The illusion of separation has led us to the division of society – the ones (the few), that feel powerful and the ones (the many), that feel powerless.

When we realize ”Who we are” – Divine Beings – we will be able to move from feeling powerless to feeling POWER-FULL. Self-Empowerment and Self-Responsibility are key for increased Self-Confidence and Self-Realization.

It’s time to create and initiate exciting, courageous and joyful Perspectives by re-defining our Values and strengthening our Independence, Freedom and Happiness - our Inalienable Rights.

My CONTRIBUTION

A Force for Conscious Evolution:

I am open to sharing my vision with like-minded individuals who are interested in joining “The Golden Rule” movement/alliance to advance the work forward. We need strong clusters of pioneers joining for a common vision, purpose and exchange. If this resonates with you, you are welcome to reach out to me.

purpose

The Goodness of the Heart:

Considering the density of the world’s population, ”Sharing & Caring” (benevolence) or more precisely – a Balance of Giving and Receiving – is the most important virtue to pursue. Actually, it is the ultimate evolutionary path to raise our consciousness as human beings. We are not separate from each other, we are a relational society. “The Golden Rule” is proof of that Truth.

Becoming Co-Creators:

If we all contribute with our individual talents towards Economic and Social Innovation for the common good, we will benefit from a quantum leap in human advancement.

We can raise Wellbeing to new levels if we are willing to observe our egos and practice more heartfelt humility and self-responsibility. It is our Chance to act as sentient beings with compassion and empathy. The choice is ours.

action

Sustainable Change is not about increasing Profit and GDP(Gross Domestic Product) – it is about increasing Quality of Life!

Moving beyond GDP – addressing psychological & emotional Wellbeing & Happiness. Improving Life Conditions and Wellbeing holistically by integrating a Qualitative Perspective; Focus on Purpose, Meaning, Values and Virtues.

Development of multi-dimensional Wellbeing Concepts & Studies as screening tools and most importantly: as a means for taking action.

Engaging the Community: Giving everyone a voice – including the less fortunate, the working poor and the ones left behind – addressing Equality. Increase Awareness for profound and holistic Wellbeing by providing specific education.

Monitoring, assessment and evaluation of patterns and outcomes/impact for further improvement.

Translating the Qualitative into the Quantitative by initiating and creating Sustainable System Change - Economic, Social and Environmental.

A role model case: Bhutan’s idea on Gross National Happiness (GNH) represents an inspiring source for multi-dimensional, qualitative characteristics of the society.

“Gross National Happiness measures the quality of a country in a more holistic way and is based on the belief that the beneficial development of human society takes place when MATERIAL AND SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT OCCURS SIDE BY SIDE to complement and reinforce each other.”

His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the Fifth King of Bhutan

“The continual inventiveness of human beings is ultimately the only source of capital. In that context, capital is an intellectual, cultural, even ‘spiritual’ force.”

Rudolf Steiner
